Wycombe could hand debuts to defenders Julian Kelly and Alan Bennett against Millwall.

Right-back Kelly arrived on loan from Championship strugglers Reading this week while former Royals centre-back Bennett has joined from Brentford.

Fellow defender Leon Johnson will be out for another month following surgery on a knee injury and Adam Hinshelwood is another defensive casualty with a knee problem of his own.

Ian Westlake is expected to be back in contention within the next month following an ankle operation and fellow midfielder Matt Bloomfield has resumed full training after a knee injury.

Veteran Gareth Ainsworth could make his second debut for the club after recovering from a calf strain but manager Gary Waddock may keep faith with the same midfield which started in the 1-1 draw with Brentford last weekend.

Danny Schofield should be back in the Millwall squad.

The winger was due to return from a hip injury against Exeter last Saturday only to suffer a cut shin in training which required stitches and ruled him out for another week.

Midfielder Marc Laird was also due back in training this week following a rib injury and could be involved.

Defender Jack Smith will miss out with a hamstring strain which is set to sideline him for a fortnight.

Striker Gary Alexander remains the only long-term absentee following his heel operation and he hopes to start jogging at the beginning of next month.

Winger Lewis Grabban was dropped from the squad which beat Exeter and will hope to earn at least a place on the bench.
