Tonight (Sun. November 19, 2017) WWE will be hosting their Survivor Series pay-per-view (PPV) from Houston, Texas' Toyota Center, as the show revolvs around the Brand vs. Brand rivalry that has been brewing with RAW and SmackDown Live.

Champions from each brand will be going one-on-one with each other as they represent their respective show. Tag Team Champions will take on Tag Team Champions, Women's Champion will be taking on Women's Champions, RAW's Intercontinental Champion will take on SmackDown's United States Champion, and of course RAW's Universal Champion will take on SmackDown Live's WWE Champion.

Currently Brock Lesnar holds the Universal Title after defeating Goldberg for the strap back at WrestleMania 33 this past April. He has defended the title against the likes of Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, and many more since as he remains atop the food chain on Monday Nights.

Lesnar was originally scheduled to take on WWE Champion Jinder Mahal at Survivor Series, but former IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star AJ Styles spoiled those plans buy pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the year.

On a taping of SmackDown Live in Manchester, England earlier this month, Styles defeated Mahal in the main event to capture his second-ever WWE Championship. He then punched his ticket to one of the main events of Survivor Series, and a one-on-one meeting with "The Beast."

This gave fans an unexpected dream match that they never even thought of, however, there is some concern over how the match will go. Many fear that Lesnar could squash Styles and make him look weak as a result.

Aside from the finish of the match, Wrestling Observer Radio's Dave Meltzer shed some insight into the mind of Lesnar after finding out he'd be working with "The Phenomenal One" (quotes via IWNerd):

“I know Brock was really looking forward to working with AJ”

Hopefully that good gesture from Lesnar translates into a good fight in the middle of the ring later tonight. WWE's finish to this match should prove to be very interesting indeed.

What are your thoughts on Lesnar being excited to work with AJ Styles later on tonight? Do you think that the pair will work nicely together inside the squared circle? And do you ever expect them to meet inside the ring again? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
