While last night's (Sat. November 18, 2017) NXT TakeOver: Houston event may have been a big success, thanks to the return of WarGames, it came with a major blow to the NXT roster.Multiple reports have come out of the event indicating that it's possible that now-former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre could have suffered a torn bicep in his loss to Andrade "Cien" Almas, and if an MRI confirms the news he is looking at up to a six month layoff period.PWInsider reports that McIntyre was attended to by a trainer following his match after being assisted out of the ring and to the back locker room area. He was favoring his left arm and shoulder area while heading to the locker room.Triple H did an interview with Cathy Kelly after the event and confirmed that the injury that is feared was a torn bicep at the end of his match. An MRI is will go down today to confirm and McIntyre could be looking at immediate surgery to repair the damage.Former WWE Superstar Taz took to Twitter to comment on the McIntyre news, and indicated that he believes from what he saw transpire in the match the former NXT Champion may have indeed suffered a torn bicep as he held onto the ropes while taking a DDT from Almas:As far as his title change goes, it's been rumored that McIntyre could be moving up to the main roster soon but nothing has been confirmed as of this writing. While fans greatly enjoyed the special event from NXT, the attendance for the event in Houston was rather poor. Here's a photo of the crowd that shows a good amount of empty seats:
