Tyson Fury has certainly been talking the talk despite his continued exile from boxing. There's no doubt that if the former heavyweight world champion could get himself in shape - as opposed to the 23 stone he's currently carrying - he'd be a serious contender to reclaim his titles. For example, talk continues of a possible bout with Anthony Joshua as the Wilmslow-born fighter continues to fire shots at the current champ.AJ will meet Deontay Wilder first in what should be the most highly-anticipated fight of 2018.In the mean time, Fury still has the small matter of formally acquiring a license to overcome.Every boxing fan would love to see him back very soon, regardless of who he gets in the ring with. The 29-year-old has now uploaded his 'hit list' to Instagram, featuring the likes of Tony Bellew and Dereck Chisora. Both of those seem unlikely opponents, yet he reserved a special post for Shannon Briggs, who he described as a "grandad with the body of a young man".

'Let's go Grandad'

"I'm gonna smash your teeth in. Let's go grandad," he posted.

In fairness, he's only responding to Briggs calling him out; it's only a week since he described Fury as "the whale", taking a massive dig at his weight, per Sky Sports.

The self-proclaimed 'Gyspy King' has opened the door for several potential clashes next year. He recently took to Twitter to ask his followers who they think he should face, though surprisingly, Joshua wasn't one of the options.

Briggs, however, was included, alongside David Price, Alexander Povetkin, and the winner of Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov.

Briggs' original post

The American posted his own warning to Fury on social media, telling him:

"You sound silly. You too sloppy to box with me and you can't punch. The Champ would walk you down and break you down."

Even if Joshua is the end-game, it'd be great to see Fury take on Briggs to settle a few scores first.
