A late strike from Elliott Benyon ensured Rotherham were denied a third consecutive League Two win as struggling Torquay secured a 1-1 draw.

Danny Harrison put the Millers on course for three precious points in their push for automatic promotion, but Benyon struck five minutes from time to deny Ronnie Moore's side.

To add to Rotherham's frustration Gary Roberts was sent off right at the death after being shown a second yellow card.

Bury bounced back to winning ways as a late Ryan Lowe penalty gave them a 1-0 home win over promotion rivals Shrewsbury.

The Shakers strengthened their grip on third place as Lowe converted a 71st-minute spot-kick to register his 13th goal of the season and Bury's seventh win in eight.

The hosts dominated, with Andy Morrell testing Shrews goalkeeper David Button, while Ben Futcher headed against the crossbar from Mike Jones' left-wing cross.
