Manchester United are a bit of a different team with Paul Pogba, aren't they?

The Frenchman made his triumphant return to the first-team on Saturday evening against Newcastle and it seemed no coincidence that Jose Mourinho's side looked a completely different entity going forward.

In fact, they were actually entertaining, with Pogba dominating the midfield and allowing the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial to torment the Magpies' backline.

United ran out 4-1 winners, with Pogba notching an assist for the equaliser and a goal himself to make it 3-1.

His strike to essentially seal the three points was very pleasing on the eye, with Rashford providing a sumptuous assist for the Frenchman.

It took Pogba's goal involvement this season in the Premier League to three goals and as many assists in just five games, further highlighting his importance.

RASHFORD'S BRILLIANT ASSIST

The Englishman was in fine form at Old Trafford and his little cushioned header into the path of Pogba was a sign of his growing maturity.

However, while United fans were indeed impressed with that, they also spotted something else that made them realise what a special talent the 20-year-old is.

EAGLE-EYED UNITED FANS SPOT SOMETHING

I mean, that's just the kind of thing you want from a young talent, that desire and hunger which will help keep him grounded in the years to come.

What is even more impressive is the composure he showed at the end after such a lung-bursting run. Most people would have virtually collapsed to the floor.

TWITTER REACTS

They loved it and United's attack certainly looked threatening with the trident of Rashford, Martial and Romelu Lukaku.

What was interesting is that they simply looked a far better side without the languid Henrikh Mkhitaryan, with the hard-working Juan Mata filling in for the Armenian.

It looks a side capable of winning games and also, entertaining the fans.

GARY LINEKER A FAN OF RASHFORD

While the game against Newcastle was going on, respected presenter Gary Lineker tweeted his praise about Rashford.

The likes of Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand have all heaped praise on him in the past and this summer, he faces a huge test as to whether he can perform for England at the World Cup.
