Tuesday night's League One game between Colchester and Brentford has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Match referee Keith Hill carried out an inspection at 4pm on Tuesday afternoon at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and the surface was deemed unplayable.

No new date has been arranged for the fixture.

Accrington's League Two game against Burton on Tuesday night has also been beaten by the weather, postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Match referee Eddie Ilderton called the game off at 3pm following the freezing conditions that have swept over the north-west region. A new date for the fixture is yet to be announced.

Darlington's clash with Notts County had been called off earlier in the day due to a frozen pitch.

A pitch inspection was carried out at 11am at the Northern Echo Arena on Tuesday morning before the game was deemed unplayable. No new date has been announced for the fixture.
