Aaron Webster remains suspended for Burton's home game against Rotherham.

The defender was set to serve a one-match ban following his red card for two bookable offences at Hereford against Accrington in midweek but the game at the Crown Ground was postponed and his suspension still stands.

With Richard Jackson and Darren Stride no closer to recovering from calf injuries, Andy Corbett, Tony James, Tom Parkes and Paul Boertien are Albion's only fit defenders and will make up the back line.

New signing Romuald Boco played in both full-back positions for Benin at the African Cup of Nations but boss Paul Peschisoldio sees the 24-year-old in a more attacking role, should he be involved.

Midfielder Russell Penn could return from a knee injury, while winger Keith Gilroy and forward Richard Walker are pushing for recalls.

Rotherham will once again be without Gary Roberts.

The midfielder was unavailable for Monday night's 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury due to a one-match suspension, but he would have missed the game in any case due to a shoulder injury.

Roberts suffered the problem in last Friday's clash with Torquay before being sent off and it will rule him out of the game against the Brewers.

Michael Cummins deputised for Roberts against the Shrews and is likely to get the nod to start once again.

Full-back Dale Tonge is not ready to return as he is still struggling with a foot injury so he will not feature.

Long-term absentees Andy Liddell and Paul Warne also remain sidelined.
