Shot at the play-offs in sight for Dillon

Published Add your comment

Aldershot manager Kevin Dillon is hoping to add to his squad to keep the pressure on the play-off positions.

Saturday's 1-0 win over Chesterfield left Dillon's side three points adrift of the top seven ahead of Tuesday night's game with Bradford.

He said: "It is really tight in this division and I am still hoping to strengthen the squad between now and the end of the loan deadline."

He added: "The players here are the reason why we are in the position we are in but it is about being realistic.

"We have half a chance of making the play-offs but I will say again that if we finish in the top 10 then we have done well.

"We now have a big match on Tuesday at home to Bradford City and we can look forward to that now."
