Saints put Terriers through hell

Southampton ended Huddersfield's 11-match unbeaten run in Coca-Cola League One in spectacular fashion by hitting five goals at St Mary's for the second time in four days.

Jason Puncheon scored one and made two as the Saints ran riot. Headers from Rickie Lambert and Lee Barnard put them in control before Puncheon's fierce low cross-shot made it 3-0 at half-time. Dean Hammond then headed in Puncheon's corner before Lambert teed up the fifth for Papa Waigo.

Elsewhere in League One, a trademark strike from Jeff Hughes on the half-hour earned Bristol Rovers a 1-0 win over Stockport, who had David Poole sent off in the last minute.
