Nottingham Forest defender Julian Bennett has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the City Ground until the summer of 2011.
It is more good news for the 25-year-old after he returned to action this week following 14 months out with knee ligament damage.
Bennett played 45 minutes for the reserves in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Coventry on Tuesday afternoon.
The full-back joined from Walsall in January 2006 and made more than 100 first-team appearances for the club before suffering his injury on Boxing Day 2008.
