Leyton Orient will check on Ben Chorley ahead of the home game against Walsall.

The centre-half missed Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat at Oldham with a hamstring injury and needs a late fitness test.

Luke Ashworth deputised for Chorley at Boundary Park and will be on stand-by again.

Veteran striker Scott McGleish was rested in midweek and should be back in the starting line-up alongside Jonathan Tehoue, who this week signed a long-term deal with the club.

Left-back Charlie Daniels came through the full 90 minutes unscathed against the Latics after a groin injury and midfielder Sean Thornton is pushing for a start after dropping to the bench.

The O`s are now just six points above the drop zone after a seven-game winless run.

Walsall will be without Rhys Weston for the trip to Brisbane Road.

Weston suffered a hamstring injury in the Saddlers' 2-2 draw against Millwall last week and has failed to recover in time for this weekend's clash.

Striker Sam Parkin is rated as 50/50 to feature as he continues his rehabilitation from a groin injury, with a reserve game next week his target should he not make the squad this time around.

Boss Chris Hutchings could recall goalkeeper Clayton Ince to replace Rene Gilmartin between the sticks given the latter's recent form.

Gilmartin was at fault for Millwall's first goal in last weekend's draw at the Banks's Stadium.

Walsall have won just two of their last six games and currently lie 11th in League One.
