Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies is confident goalkeeper Lee Camp will be able to fill the leadership void left by Paul McKenna.

Skipper McKenna is nursing a knee ligament injury sustained in the 1-0 win over Swansea last week and may not play again this season.

Davies is to turn to vice-captain Camp to take the armband in McKenna's absence and is optimistic the stopper can lead the side well.

He added: "I've said before that what we need most between now and the end of the season is a big personality and Lee has got that in abundance," Davies told the club's official website.

He added: "Right throughout our side I think our other young players have got to take a leaf out of his book and realise that's what it is going to take for us to carry on winning football games."
