Bradford avenged their 1-0 defeat at Aldershot 11 days ago to record their second successive home win under new manager Peter Taylor.

The visitors went in front after nine minutes when Anthony Straker fired home at the far post after Bradford keeper Matt Glennon failed to hold Scott Donnelly's angled shot.

However, Bradford equalised five minutes later with a superb header from leading scorer James Hanson who dived to reach Michael Flynn's cross at the far post.

Jamaican international Omar Daley then put Bradford in front after 21 minutes with a fine left-foot shot from the edge of the penalty area after Luke O'Brien's cross was diverted into his path.

Aldershot pressed hard for an equaliser in the second half and ought to have scored after 71 minutes when substitute Marlon Jackson headed wide with the goal at his mercy.
