Leeds manager Simon Grayson has confirmed all contract talks, including striker Jermaine Beckford's, have been placed on hold until the end of the season.
Defenders Andrew Hughes and Rui Marques, goalkeeper Casper Ankergren and League One player of the year Beckford are among the players whose current deals end in June.
"I don't think at this stage of the season anyone needs to be worrying about contract offers," Grayson said.
"Players who are out know that's the case and there won't be any negotiations until the end of the season."
He added: "I don't want anything to affect our focus. It might seem a little harsh, but it's something we decided a couple of weeks ago to go with and they are comfortable with that."
Leading goalscorer Beckford, who withdrew a transfer request in December after Leeds had turned down a reported £1.8million bid from Newcastle, is understood to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Everton.
