Coleman cuts the mustard for Blackpool

Published Add your comment

Blackpool have bolstered their defence with the signing of highly-rated Everton right-back Seamus Coleman on a month's loan.

The Tangerines beat off competition from Coca-Cola Championship rivals QPR to sign the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, who made his debut for the Toffees in their Europa League defeat against Benfica last October.

Coleman, 21, goes straight into Blackpool's squad to face Crystal Palace at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.
