Rochdale manager Keith Hill told his players to continue their charge towards the League Two title after coming from behind to defeat Accrington 4-2 in an entertaining encounter at the Crown Ground.

Stanley had gone two goals ahead thanks to Michael Symes and John Miles goals, however Dale battled back and drew levelled thanks to a Gary Jones double, the midfielder netting twice in the space of five minutes. The visitors then took the momentum into the closing stages, Chris O'Grady and a Kallum Higginbotham wonder strike securing three points that put the Lancashire outfit 11 points clear at the top.

Hill said: "It was an unbelievable game. The first half both sides went toe-to-toe and it was an even contest. They scored their two and you fear the worst."

He added: "But we got one back straight away. Gary Jones has driven them team forward, we got the momentum and all the goals we scored were superb.

"That's 23 games we have won now - that's more than the season we went to Wembley - and there is 10 games left. We have a plan and we have just got to keep going."
