Blackpool will be without Stephen Dobbie for the home clash against Swansea.

The on-loan striker is unable to face his parent club due to the terms of his agreement.

Brett Ormerod, Gary Taylor-Fletcher and Ben Burgess all came off the bench to feature in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace, with the latter netting a late equaliser, and the trio will all be pushing for a place in the starting line-up.

Fellow striker DJ Campbell (thigh) and midfielder David Vaughan (ankle) could return after missing the clash against the Eagles.

The Seasiders will be looking to end their three-match winless run but will again have to cope without the services of Neal Eardley (torn hamstring) and Hameur Bouazza (groin).

Swansea skipper Garry Monk and midfielder Darren Pratley could return to the starting line-up.

Central defender Monk was not risked in the 1-1 draw at QPR at the weekend due to a troublesome calf injury that ruled him out for a month before he returned at West Brom last week.

But Monk will be hoping to return against the Tangerines along with the influential Pratley, who was named on the bench at Loftus Road due to tight hamstrings.

Fellow midfielder Andrea Orlandi (hamstring) could make a welcome return and Joe Allen (knee) is also nearing full fitness.

Cedric van der Gun may be recalled to the starting line-up if boss Paulo Sousa sticks to his usual policy of rotating his side while striker Guillem Bauza will be hoping to keep his place in the side after being given his first start of the season at QPR.

Albert Serran (hamstring) will definitely not feature and Ferrie Bodde (calf) is also expected to remain on the sidelines.
