The Cleveland Cavaliers are 24-11 and enjoyed a stretch in which they won 18-of-19 games this season.Despite getting off to a slow start, Cleveland proved that they should continue to be considered the favorites to win the Eastern Conference, something that they've done three times in a row. However, losing three out of their last four games, including to the struggling Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night, the Cavs have hit a bit of a rough patch."Sometimes, when you're winning as much as you're winning, you have slippage," Dwyane Wade said on Thursday, per ESPN's Dave McMenamin. "We've had some slippage, and we've got to figure out a way to nip it in the bud before it becomes: 'We in a rut, and we've got to get ourselves back out of it.'"Luckily for the Cavs, the recent losses can be explained by placing blame on one area.Although Cleveland's bench came into their current road trip scoring 40.6 points per game (third-best in the NBA), they managed just 21 points on 6-of-26 shooting against the Golden State Warriors on Christmas and then 32 points on 12-for-28 shooting against the Kings.Meanwhile, they allowed Sacramento's bench to drop 68 points. That's simply not going to get it done, especially since Cleveland's bench plays an important role in providing support to LeBron James and Kevin Love, both of whom have carried the club.As the leader of Cleveland's second unit, Wade knows that vast improvements need to be made sooner rather than later."We're out of rhythm," said Wade. "We had a flow going, we had a rhythm going, but then things changed a little bit. You trying to bring new guys back. Tristan [Thompson] came back, and then the lineup was different. And you try to figure out your game. That's the part of it when you have guys who you know that was out, and then they come back in. So we out of sorts a little bit, we out of rhythm, and we got to find it back. We will."

The Cavs will look to get back on track against the Utah Jazz on Saturday. After heading home for one game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, they will head out on a five-game road trip.

Therefore, they'll most likely need to get more production out of their bench to be successful away from the friendly confines of Quicken Loans Arena.
