Peterborough boss Jim Gannon is close to making a decision over his future at the club.

The former Motherwell boss is currently committed to the Coca-Cola Championship side until the end of the season, but is thought to have agreed a long-term contract.

However, Gannon is unsure about relocating his family from Stockport and he told BBC Look East: "I think it's important that I make the situation clear so we can start planning for next season. Maybe by the end of the week it will be a prudent time to make a decision."

He added: "I had a second opportunity to sit down with the family this weekend and reflect. You have to sleep on things and chat them over and it's a very difficult decision either way."
