Harry Kane used the last day of 2017 to sum up his remarkable year in one photo. The Spurs striker has enjoyed a record-breaking year with club and country, scoring an astonishing 56 goals. That figure saw him become the first player in Europe's top five leagues to outscore both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo since 2009.The praise for the player has flown in from all angles - with many tipping him to one day challenge for the Ballon d'Or.His record of 39 Premier League goals set a new record for the league, beating the previous best of 36 that Alan Shearer set at Blackburn in 1995.Kane, of course, won the golden boot at the end of last season - and he continued that form into the second half of the year, again topping the goalscoring charts at the turn of the year. His 18 goals have him one ahead of Liverpool's star signing Mohammed Salah, and the race for the award in 17/18 promises to be an exciting one.But Kane is the undisputed goal king of 2017 - and he made sure to show off that fact as the year came to a close.Tottenham's number 10 posted a photo on Twitter with all his goalscoring mementoes - and it's quite the collection. Check out Kane's photo below:

Seen here with Kane is the golden boot won earlier in the year along with the eight match-balls he took home for completing hattricks.

That figure means the England forward scored more hattricks in 2017 than Messi, Ronaldo, and Cavani combined (seven).

It's been an absolutely incredible year for Kane, who will be hoping to retain his form in 2018. The possibilities seem endless as the 24-year-old just gets better and better.

Next year is a World Cup year, of course. What better opportunity for Kane to prove he's one of the greatest?
