Arsenal failed to make up any ground on the Premier League's top four on Sunday after being held to a 1-1 draw by West Bromwich Albion.

Alexis Sanchez's deflected free-kick put Arsene Wenger's men ahead seven minutes from time, however they dropped two points after a controversially awarded penalty.

In the 89th-minute, referee Mike Dean gave West Brom a spot-kick after deciding that Calum Chambers intentionally handled Kieran Gibbs' cut-back inside the area.

What Chambers shouted at Dean

After Rodriguez's penalty hit the back of the net, the cameras immediately went onto Chambers, and he could be seen shouting "That's a f***ing disgrace!" towards 49-year-old Dean.

Chambers had every right to feel hard done by, but some people on Twitter who spotted his outburst believe he could receive a ban for his foul language.

In addition to Gunners manager Wenger, Petr Cech also delivered an emotional post-match interview regarding the penalty, and his full-time protests earned him a yellow card.

Even for those who think Chambers' handball was deserving of a penalty, surely everyone can agree that it was incredibly soft, and ultimately cost Arsenal a vital victory.
