When you look at Arsenal's current squad, there really is an evident lack of quality.Aside from Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil - who are both in the last year of their contracts - it is hard to really label any other member of the team as 'world-class'.Jack Wilshere, Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey are all very good, but they're not close to the bracket that the aforementioned pair are in.As such, Gunners fans were desperate for Arsene Wenger to try and get in some high-quality reinforcements in the January transfer window, particularly if one or both of Sanchez and Ozil leave.Sadly, on Wednesday morning, they were greeted with a truly familiar sight; the Arsenal boss spending a minimal amount to bring in a virtually unheard of player.Well, he hasn't officially brought him in yet, but everything is in place for Konstantinos Mavropanos to seal his move to the Emirates, with Arsenal and his club PAS Giannina in 'advanced talks'.He's labelled as Greece's 'next big thing', but you can understand why fans would be pretty underwhelmed with the business, particularly after Liverpool spent £75m on Virgil van Dijk to fix their defence. However, some fans have changed their tune after seeing a highlights montage of him and by the looks of it, he could be a very astute purchase by Wenger and Sven Mislintat.

He looks like everything Arsenal need, capable on the ball, strong in the tackle, quick and above all, aggressive in his work. Also, it appears he can head a ball bloody far.

If there's one thing that sums up the Gunners in recent years, it is their lack of bite and the Greek could be the solution to a prominent issue.

Safe to say, the negativity was sapped out of supporters once they had watched the video.

ARSENAL FANS REACT

Sadly for Arsenal fans wanting to see a glimpse of him in red and white, they will have to wait until at least 2018/19, with the youngster set to be shipped out on loan to German side Werder Bremen.
