Franck Queudrue is in line to make his Colchester debut when Wycombe visit the Community Stadium.

The experienced defender has joined the Us' promotion bid on loan from Birmingham until the end of the season.

Queudrue is expected to be pitched straight into the starting line-up with regular left-back Marc Tierney set to sit out again with a groin injury.

Striker Kayode Odejayi will face a late fitness check after missing the 3-3 midweek against Brentford with an ankle injury.

Defender Paul Reid is expected to miss out again as he continues to build up his fitness following a long-term knee injury.

Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole is pushing for a recall after dropping to the bench against the Bees.

Alan Bennett will be back in the Wycombe side.

Bennett has re-joined the Chairboys until the end of the season for a second loan spell from Brentford and will replace Chris Westwood at the heart of the defence.

Gary Waddock`s side were 2-0 up against fellow strugglers Exeter last weekend before drawing 2-2 and need three points at Colchester to keep alive their hopes of avoiding the drop.

Centre-half Leon Johnson is still out as he recovers from surgery on his hip injury while midfielders Lewwis Spence (knee) and Ian Westlake (knee) are also sidelined.

Wycombe last won at the home of their rivals in October 2002, when a Steve Brown penalty gave them a 1-0 win.
