Striker Mario Balotelli is looking increasingly likely that he will still be an Inter Milan player come the start of next season.

Balotelli ‘s agent Mino Raiola has insisted that the 19-year-old is going nowhere, despite the rift between manager Jose Mourinho and himself.

Balotelli future at the club was in doubt after Mourinho omitted striker from the squad that knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League.

Both Arsenal and Manchester City have been previously reported to be interested in signing the Italian U21 international.

City boss Roberto Mancini recently stated that he would like to bring Balotelli to Eastlands if the player became available. However, a move to the Premier League now seems a long way off after Raiola dismissed any transfer talk.

Mino Raiola told Italian TV station Sky Sport 24, “Mario will not go to Milan and there has never been any attempt.

“Balotelli will be at Inter for a long time. This story has gone way out of proportion. I hope it ends soon... because the player wants to make an important contribution to the team.”

Raiola also refused to comment on the deterioration of the relationship between the striker and Mourinho saying: “It’s not for me to talk about...I want to simply calm him down.”
