Philippe Coutinho’s dream has finally come true.

The Brazilian is now a Barcelona player after completing a £142 million move from Liverpool.

He might have to wait a few weeks to make his debut, as he’s still suffering from a thigh injury, but he couldn’t hide his delight when he was unveiled on Monday.

"I want to thank the president and everyone who has made it possible," said Coutinho.

"I am very happy, it's a dream come true and I hope to be up to the job on the field."

Coutinho will team up with former teammate Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi - as well as Ousmane Dembele - to form a formidable attacking foursome.

And Coutinho will be trying his best to follow in the footsteps of compatriots and close friend Neymar.

Neymar left Barca for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer after scoring 105 goals in 186 appearances in all competitions.

WHAT NEYMAR TOLD COUTINHO

And Coutinho revealed what Neymar told him about the Catalan club ahead of his move.

”I spoke to Neymar and he has nothing but good things to say about the team, the city and the dressing room,” Coutinho revealed.

While Neymar was a good friend on that occasion by encouraging him to make the move, the forward was a little more mischievous during Coutinho’s unveiling.

WHAT NEYMAR WROTE ON INSTAGRAM

Neymar wrote a message on his Instagram story that read: “Very happy for you, I wish you every success in the world, I'm sure you'll be very happy…”

But then, he mocked Coutinho for his new hair style by saying: “And tell me, is this hair in fashion?"

Cheeky.

Neymar can’t actually talk about hairstyles can he?

He’s had some of the most outrageous haircuts in football and he’s calling Coutinho out for his fairly ordinary style.

Pot. Kettle. Black.
