Luis Suarez played a huge role in Philippe Coutinho’s move to Barcelona. It must hurt Liverpool fans to learn that Suarez convinced the Brazilian to come to the Camp Nou by selling the club and the city to him in a series of messages. Not only that, but Suarez even found a house for Coutinho and his family before the deal was completed."'No, presidente, there is no need for a hotel. I already have a house for him," Suarez is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail.It was a lovely gesture from Suarez. Coutinho admitted that he now feels indebted to the Uruguayan forward.“He saw that a house next to his became available," Coutinho told the Mail. "He didn't know I was coming for certain but he liked the idea."It's a kind gesture. We've seen the pictures, the views look amazing. We are in touch all the time and I look forward to seeing the property with my family.

“I know Luis will help us to feel at home."

Suarez welcomed Coutinho on Twitter

The pair will link up again following their time together at Anfield and Liverpool supporters are struggling to cope with the sight of them both in Barcelona gear.

Suarez posted a photo alongside Coutinho on Twitter, writing: “WELCOME my friend @Phil_Coutinho 👏👏 how nice is to share team with you again 😃😃 Lots of success in this new stage, we will achieve them all together!”

Liverpool fans are reacting on social media, and it’s safe to say they’re not taking this very well.

Just imagine how they’ll feel when the pair are playing together for Barça.

Gerard Pique also welcomed the new arrival.

Coutinho will have to wait to make his debut

Coutinho’s debut is weeks away, however, after the Blaugrana confirmed a thigh injury will keep him out for 20 days.

The playmaker joined Barcelona after Liverpool agreed to sell him for £142 million, making him the third-most expensive player in the world behind Paris Saint-Germain duo Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

It’s a huge price to pay for a player who is unavailable in the Champions League this season, but Barcelona’s funds were boosted when they sold Neymar to PSG last summer for £198m.

Part of that money was also spent on bringing Ousmane Dembele to the club from Borussia Dortmund.

Nobody can say Barcelona have been quiet when it comes to transfers, can they?
