After over two decades in charge of Arsenal, the writing is well and truly on the wall for Arsene Wenger.

The French manager has had quite a few low points in his career ever since the famous 'Invicibles' season of 2003/04 but right now, he is at the lowest he has ever been.

Arsenal are currently languishing in sixth place in the Premier League and went crashing out of the FA Cup in the third round after a 4-2 loss to Nottingham Forest.

The Carabao Cup is a potential chance for silverware but do to so, they will likely have to overcome both Manchester City and Chelsea, something they did do last season to lift the FA Cup.

The other huge negative hanging over Wenger's head is his current squad situation, with star man Alexis Sanchez all but certain to join Manchester City in the next six months.

Mesut Ozil and Jack Wilshere are also in the last year of their deals, but will be offered new contracts, while a number of deadwood players need to be cleared off the wage bill.

Well, according to The Sun, it seems that Wenger is plotting his biggest ever squad shakeup in north London, with six other big names potentially following Sanchez out the exit door.

SIX NAMES ON WENGER'S LIST

The first three are likely to be shipped out in this transfer window, with Francis Coquelin, Mathieu Debuchy and Theo Walcott all close to ending their Arsenal nightmares.

Coquelin is eyeing up a move to Valencia, Debuchy could be on his way to West Brom and Walcott looks likely to rejoin Southampton.

The other three names may shock a few Arsenal fans.

Dependable 'plan B' Olivier Giroud may not have long left at the Emirates, with Turkish side Besiktas eyeing up the Frenchman as a replacement for new Everton striker Cenk Tosun.

The other two? Aaron Ramsey and Danny Welbeck. Apparently, Wenger may look to bring in some money for the pair instead of letting them both run down the last two years on their contracts.

Safe to say, the sale of Ramsey would be the one that would cause the most uproar.

In the next six months, it seems change is going to be the big thing at Arsenal.
