Ever since the conclusion of Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather's epic boxing program last year, UFC President Dana White has been teasing getting into to promoting game for the world of boxing as well.

Boxing was White's first love and he's still very much a fan of the sport today. Over the past several months White has been teasing taking Zuffa boxing to the next level and is ready to get into the sport and flip it upside down.

White's aspirations have not produced positive reactions from promoters currently in the boxing world, most likely out of fear that he'll be as successful as he believes that he's going to be. White recently spoke to ESPN to respond to the criticism he has received from boxing promoters.

The UFC boss stated that when it comes to promoting fighters he can offer them a ton more than your typical boxing promoter; such as access to the UFC's new training facility, health insurance, and so much more (quotes via Bloody Elbow):

"Whoever an athlete is, I don’t care who it is, I want to fly you to Las Vegas and we’re going to meet,” White said.

“I’m going to walk you through this new facility, show you the gym, the trainers, all the amenities.

"Free supplements, physical therapy, we’ll cook your food exactly how you like it three times per day. You’ll get health insurance.”

”Who can offer you a better deal than me in combat sports? F--- boxing, MMA, whatever it is,” he added. “Who can offer a better deal than me? The answer is nobody.

”This is what we do. Keep doubting us.”

What are your thoughts on White saying that he can offer boxers a lot more than typical boxing promoters can? Do you think that White's venture into the world of boxing will be a successful one? And what will his impact on the world of boxing be when it's all said and done? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
