Many fans are hoping that Daniel Bryan will be allowed by the WWE to come out of retirement and return to the ring once more to compete. Currently, however, he hasn't been cleared by WWE doctors to compete in the ring for them.

If the SmackDown Live general manager isn't cleared by WWE to compete in the ring, then many fans believe he will leave the WWE in order to go and wrestle elsewhere either with Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Dr. Joseph Maroon will be the person that makes the final decision regarding Bryan possibly being allowed to wrestle in WWE again, and his decision could ultimately decide as well if The King of Beards stays or leaves the company once his contract expires in September.

During a recent appearance at the Television Critics Association winter press tour panel for the 25th anniversary of WWE Raw, Triple H shred some light on the situation regarding Bryan in the WWE and if he will be able to compete inside the ring in the near future.

The Game said that unless Bryan is cleared medically to compete, he won't be wrestling for the WWE again. He went on to praise WWE's medical staff as being some of the best on the planet, while also saying he hopes Bryan makes the best decision for himself and his family.

He said, via Gamespot: "There can be no exception, medically if the belief is that he's not healthy enough and it is a risk for to perform, then I don't know why we would ever allow him to step in the ring unless it can be proven otherwise.

"We have some of the best medical people in the world working for us. Our wellness policy, our concussion programs, out protocols--I'll put them up against any on the planet.

"The medical experts will make the determination of whether Bryan can set foot in that ring or not, personally, for him, I know it's something he loved doing and own hope he has that opportunity. But at the same point in time, he's married and has a child. We serve the human being first."

WWE doesn't want to see Bryan leave the company for the independent scene, but the man has said himself that he will no longer be SmackDown's general manager once his current contract expires. Therefore, if WWE doesn't clear him to compete, he will likely be leaving the company.

If Bryan does leave the WWE, hopefully the company gives him the send off he deserves for everything he has done for them inside the squared circle.
