Tranmere boss Les Parry is boosted by the return of Zoumana Bakayogo for the daunting home clash with leaders Norwich.

The left-back comes back into contention after suspension but on-loan Leeds winger Andy Robinson begins a three-match ban.

Robinson was sent off in last weekend's 3-0 defeat at Brighton but Parry is also hoping to have skipper Ian Thomas-Moore available.

Thomas-Moore is nursing a knee problem which forced him to miss Rovers' last two matches against Hartlepool and Brighton.

Gareth Edds has been passed fit to return to action after a chest infection and will come into contention for a starting role.

However, on-loan Manchester City defender Shaleum Logan is sidelined for up to six weeks after undergoing a hernia operation.

Norwich midfielder Korey Smith is a fitness doubt ahead of the trip.

The teenager limped out of the closing stages of last weekend's 1-0 win over Leeds with a dead leg and is unlikely to be fit to face the strugglers, so Stephen Hughes is in line to start at Prenton Park.

Chris Martin could return up front alongside Grant Holt after he came off the bench to score the winner against Leeds as Paul Lambert's side look to move a step closer to promotion.

The Canaries are 11 points clear at the top of League One with eight games remaining.

Defender Zak Whitbread (calf) and striker Cody McDonald (thigh) are both now available but young striker Luke Daley is on the sidelines again after suffering a recurrence of a thigh injury.

Defender Jens Berthel Askou is also out as he recovers from a foot injury.
