Liverpool fans are desperately hoping that an agreement with RB Leipzig can be reached that would see Naby Keita arrive at Anfield this month. The Guinean midfielder is set to join the Premier League club in July but there is a hope that a deal can be reached that would lead to Keita’s early exit.Liverpool paid £51 million to sign the 22-year-old and an extra £13m could convince Leipzig to release Keita in January. It’s a fee the Reds could easily afford following the departure of Philippe Coutinho and Keita’s quality could come in handy as Jurgen Klopp’s side push to finish in the top four.Reports emerged from Germany late on Friday that claimed Keita will play his last game for Leipzig against Schalke today and will move to Liverpool in the coming days. However, they were quickly quashed by Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce.“Still no agreement between RB Leipzig and #LFC over Naby Keita potentially moving to Anfield this month,” Pearce wrote.

“In fact told there's been ‘no progression at all’ following initial discussions.”

Liverpool fans have discovered something about Keita

That will come as disappointing news to the Liverpool supporters who have done some serious digging to find out when Keita will arrive.

Eagle-eyes fans spotted that Keita has registered a company named ‘NK8 LIMITED’ on the Companies House website.

Keita, who will wear the No. 8 shirt at Liverpool, is listed as one of the two officers and the nationality, country of residence and occupation all suggest that it really is Keita’s company.

Klopp refused to discuss Keita

It’s easy to see why there’s so much excitement surrounding Keita but Klopp refused to discuss the Leipzig midfielder’s situation when he spoke to the media on Friday.

“My understanding is there’s nothing to say about it,” the German said, per the Independent. “When we had this conversation around Philippe Coutinho I had nothing to say and I will not start doing that now.

“He’s a player of Leipzig, that’s what I know. In the summer he’ll be here, that’s what I know as well. Nothing else to say.”

That’s not going to cut it with the Liverpool fans will are desperately searching for any hint he will arrive in January.
