It's that time of the year again where speculation regarding The Undertaker's return begins. It's even more interesting this year because the last time we saw The Deadman, he lost to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 33.

However, he is confirmed for another appearance as he will be making a return at the 25th anniversary special of Monday Night RAW, joining a whole host of legends.

ANOTHER RETURN?

With this return - following on from reports that he was backstage at a recent SmackDown LIVE event - it's thought that The Phenom could be ready to make another comeback.

Fans will always argue that he should now call it a day for several reasons. This includes him not being in the greatest health right now while it probably doesn't make complete sense for his character to come back again.

Think of Shawn Michaels. He lost, retired and protected the character and legacy ever since. Even if matches against AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan seemed plausible.

Anyway, it was revealed by Bruce Prichard that The Undertaker looks to be in good health and if he wants to compete again, then he'll most likely get his wish.

According to Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Undertaker's WrestleMania 34 plans could kick off as early as the RAW 25 episode - and the match could be huge.

RAW 25

They're claiming that The Undertaker's match is currently one of the two biggest matches taking place on the night in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The rumoured plan is that The Undertaker will finally battle John Cena at the event, after the latter is also advertised to appear on the same show and it's a WrestleMania match many fans believe needs to happen before either man officially calls it a day. However, they added that this is the plan unless The Undertaker changes his mind.

It's thought that if it's given the green light, the feud could officially begin on the RAW 25 episode.

Along with this match, a Universal Championship clash between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns is the other big match that's been discussed, meaning the WWE Championship match isn't one of the big two contests.

Whether that means Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble, though, remains to be seen. Especially since it's been speculated that Shinsuke Nakamura could win and is already the favourite.
