Leeds have not ruled out an immediate return to action for Luciano Becchio against Swindon after the striker was knocked unconscious last weekend.
The Argentinian was accidentally kicked in the side of the head by Norwich defender Michael Nelson and taken to hospital for check-ups after being stretchered from the field.
But Leeds manager Simon Grayson will delay his decision on whether to include the 12-goal forward until consulting with the club's doctor on Saturday morning.
Teenage striker Sanchez Watt, signed on loan from Arsenal last week, is expected to be included in the squad and Gary McSheffrey, on loan from Birmingham, could return to contention following a knee injury.
Striker Tresor Kandol will sit out the first game of a four-match ban after his dismissal at Norwich, just 20 seconds after replacing Andrew Hughes as a substitute.
Billy Paynter and Scott Cuthbert should be fully fit for Swindon.
Nineteen-goal striker Paynter returned from a hamstring injury to play the final half-hour of last weekend`s 1-0 win at Hartlepool but should be okay to start from the off this time around.
Defender Cuthbert, meanwhile, made his comeback on the bench after medial ligament trouble and he will now compete with Jean-Francois Lescinel for a starting berth at Elland Road.
Vincent Pericard (hamstring) and Sean Morrison (groin) are both 50/50 for the trip to Yorkshire having returned to full training.
But should the pair not make it against Leeds then they will certainly be in the frame for Monday`s home clash against Tranmere.
Callum Kennedy is close to 100% after his lengthy spell on the sidelines but Kurt Hammonds (knee) and Alan O`Brien (hamstring) remain in recovery.
