Macclesfield caretaker boss Gary Simpson will be without midfielder Ross Draper for the home clash with Aldershot.
Draper sustained an ankle injury in last weekend's 1-0 home victory against Cheltenham and is set to be sidelined for between three to four weeks.
However, fellow midfielder Izak Reid came off the bench against Cheltenham after an ankle problem and played for the reserves in midweek.
He should therefore be available to face the Shots as Macclesfield bid to move closer to safety.
Defender Carl Tremarco is battling to overcome a groin problem and will be assessed.
Town - who lie on 42 points with eight matches remaining - are still missing Hamza Bencherif, Colin Daniel and Ricky Sappleton through long-term injuries.
Aldershot will be without goalkeeper Mikhael Jamiez-Ruiz for the trip.
The 25-year-old Venezuelan was sent off in the 2-1 win at Bury last weekend and will serve a one-match suspension so Jamie Young will make his first start.
Young was signed last month on non-contract terms after being released by Wycombe and worked under manager Kevin Dillon earlier in his career at Reading.
Left-back Andy Sandell is close to a return from the hamstring injury which has ruled him out of the last four games while fellow defender Anthony Charles is hoping to play despite a groin problem.
Former Reading midfielder John Halls is unlikely to feature again this season after complications hampered his recovery from groin surgery as the Shots look to keep hold of their place in the play-offs.
