It looks like the UFC has already found Vitor Belfort a replacement opponent after his fight scheduled for tonight fell through.

Originally the former UFC light heavyweight champion was scheduled to face Uriah Hall in the co-main event of UFC St. Louis tonight, however, Hall had weight cutting difficulties and experienced a scary episode that forced him to be hospitalized.

Now Belfort will reportedly challenge former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping at UFC Fight Night 127. It's rumored the fight will serve as the night's main event in Bisping's backyard of London, England, per a report from Globo. The UFC has yet to confirm the booking.

Bisping is on a two-fight losing skid after having a five-fight win streak snapped. He lost his 185-pound strap to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 217 this past November via third round submission choke.

Three weeks later the Brit jumped right back into the Octagon to challenge rising challenger Kelvin Gastelum on short notice, losing the fight via nasty first round knockout. He won the middleweight strap in June of 2016 when he upset Luke Rockhold at UFC 199.

He successfully defended the title against Dan Henderson in October that same year. Belfort recently snapped a two-fight losing streak of his own by downing Nate Marquardt this past June via unanimous decision.

Prior to the win he suffered back-to-back knockout losses to Ronaldo Souza and Gegard Mousasi. If the fight between Belfort and Bisping takes place it will be a rematch from their initial match-up in January of 2013.

Belfort won that match-up via second round knockout one fight after losing his light heavyweight title opportunity to Jon Jones.

UFC Fight Night 127 will take place from the O2 Arena on March 17th in London, England. The card will also feature a light heavyweight match-up between top contenders Jimi Manuwa and Jan Blachowicz.

What are your thoughts on Bisping and Belfort likely rematching for a fight in London later this year? Do you think that this could be a retirement fight for both of these men? And do you think either one of them have anything left in the tank for one last title run? Let us know your thoughts on the matter in the comments section below!
