Blackpool enhanced their chances of securing a Championship play-off place with an impressive 4-2 victory at relegation-threatened Scunthorpe.

Ian Holloway's side kept the pressure on sixth-placed Leicester with a superb performance against the Iron.

A bizarre own-goal from Andrew Wright put Blackpool in front in a first half which they dominated.

Grant McCann equalised from the penalty spot just after half-time but Blackpool then ran riot to secure three precious points courtesy of a fine Seamus Coleman strike and a double from substitute DJ Campbell.

Gary Hooper pulled a goal back for the home side five minutes from time but the damage had already been done as Scunthorpe's run of three consecutive wins was ended to leave them still five points above third-bottom Crystal Palace.
