Monday Night Raw was, without a shadow of a doubt, the Braun Strowman show this week. The Monster Among Men was originally fired by Raw general manager Kurt Angle and taken out of the Royal Rumble main event at the top of the broadcast for the rampage he went on last week that saw Kane and Brock Lesnar - his Rumble opponents - seriously hurt backstage.Of course, security was not able to force Strowman to leave and the 34-year-old proceeded to cause yet more chaos backstage among superstars and equipment alike.Eventually, Strowman made his way back out to the arena and in front of the live audience, but instead of heading to the ring, he had something else in mind.Strowman proceeded to walk over to the announce team of Michael Cole, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Corey Graves and picked Cole up like he was nothing.Carrying him across the stage, Angle would then confront Strowman and reveal that Stephanie McMahon - Raw commissioner - had re-hired Strowman and he would indeed be in the title match at the Royal Rumble. However, an eagle-eyed fan on Twitter has noticed the subtle thing Booker T did before Cole was grabbed and we must say, it is hilarious:

Whether Booker was meant to do that or not remains to be seen, but at first glance, it looks like a world-class piece of improvisation from the former WCW legend.

Speaking of Strowman, last November, Kane spoke glowingly of the big man and what his legacy will be in the business.

"Braun Strowman is doing a great job and he is going to have great career in WWE. I think at the end of his career he will be known as one of the greatest big men ever."

Angle has also had warm words for Strowman and while Angle is widely regarded as the fastest learning wrestler in the history of the business, Strowman is not far behind.

“I don’t like to compare myself to anybody, but Braun Strowman is picking up quicker than anybody I know. He’s on his way, if he stays healthy, to be one of the best big men in the great history of the big men. That’s how much ability he’s displayed."
