Defender Dean Leacock and midfielder Michael Tonge are doubts for Derby ahead of the visit of Ipswich.

Leacock was forced off at half-time in the 1-0 win over Coventry with a knee injury, while a calf problem saw Tonge substituted with three minutes remaining at the Ricoh Arena.

Nicky Hunt and Steve Davies are pushing for recalls should the duo not be fit in time.

Kris Commons is close to a return but this game will come too soon for the Scotland international.

Commons suffered a hamstring injury against Swansea in February and it was hoped he would be back in contention by now. However, Rams boss Nigel Clough is hopeful the forward could be available for the trip to Barnsley next weekend.

Ipswich manager Roy Keane has no fresh injury worries.

Keane saw his side return to winning ways with a 2-1 win over Reading on Saturday and is likely to select from the same squad at Pride Park.

However with two games in 48 hours Keane may choose to freshen up his starting XI, so the likes of Shane O`Connor, Owen Garvan, Liam Rosenior, Carlos Edwards, Pablo Counago and Connor Wickham all come into the reckoning.

Goalkeeper Richard Wright could also be among the replacements.

Wright has been out of action since injuring his knee in November but stepped up his comeback with an appearance for the reserves last week.

Keane remains without winger Luciano Civelli, who is out until September as he battles to save his career following a serious knee injury.
