Cris Cyborg made her statement of being called one of the best women's fighters in the history of UFC when she defeated Holly Holm to retain the UFC Women's Featherweight Championship at UFC 219 last year.

However, during a recent interview, she doesn't believe Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor deserve the same kind of accolade in their respective divisions, and the Brazilian discussed the issue recently on the Domenick Nati Show.

The UFC Women's Featherweight Champion believes Rousey is overhyped because she has failed to succeed against 'real fighters', while she believes McGregor is overhyped as well because 'he's never seen fighting one guy who's tough'.

Cyborg said, via MMA Mania: "I think you see already Ronda Rousey. Everyone think she is the best fight ever, ever pound for pound, and then you see when she fight real fighters, she has a hard time.

"And then, maybe McGregor. He’s never seen fighting one guy who’s tough, I would like to see him fight Jacare and fight Khabib. And McGregor has a big name but you don’t know, we don’t see him in real fight, with tough guys in MMA.”

Cyborg said she doesn't like the fact UFC make their promotion the Ronda show and the Conor show, instead of spreading the hype across the entire roster. She believes this is not helping the sport of MMA grow.

The UFC Women's Featherweight Champion said: "I don’t like it when you put everything in the sport on just two persons. Because when they lose, then people get no interesting. You need to promote all the fighters.

"Like let’s no promote women’s MMA, only the face Ronda Rousey. You can no do this because now she retire. Now people are interested in only her. You have to promote all the girls. All the girls make the sport great.”

”Same thing with McGregor. All the guys make up men’s MMA, but they just push the face. Ronda retires, or no retire, she take a break. McGregor only wants to come back when he can win. And this is not helping the sport growing.”

Cyborg makes a good point on McGregor, as he has never defended any title which he has won in UFC, but the same can't be said about Rousey. Cyborg might have made these comments in order to draw out Rousey for a fight, but that's unlikely to happen anytime soon if the reports of her signing with WWE are to be believed.
