Danny Wilson will have Alan Sheehan available as Swindon look to strengthen their hold on second spot with victory over Tranmere.

The Robins climbed into the automatic promotion places with a 3-0 win at promotion rivals Leeds, but Sheehan was ineligible to feature against his parent club due to the terms of his loan agreement.

Billy Paynter and Scott Cuthbert returned to the starting line-up and will be hoping to keep their places against Les Parry's men, while Sean Morrison could again be named on the bench after shaking off a groin problem in time to make the squad.

The availability of Vincent Pericard (hamstring) remains unclear, but Callum Kennedy, Kurt Hammonds (both knee) and Alan O`Brien (hamstring) remain on the sidelines.

Tranmere boss Parry is likely to keep faith with the side that defeated league leaders Norwich.

Parry made two changes for the visit of the Canaries. One was enforced with Andy Robinson beginning a three-match suspension and the forward remains out along with left-back Aaron Cresswell, who is also banned.

Terry Gornell and Ian Thomas-Moore were the players recalled on Friday evening as the 3-1 win lifted Tranmere out of the relegation zone.

Zoumana Bakayogo returned to the squad against Norwich after suspension and should again be on the bench along with Gareth Edds, who has overcome a chest infection.

With the two teams immediately below Tranmere - Gillingham and Southend - playing each other on Monday, Rovers could take a significant step towards League One survival with victory at the County Ground.
