Shrewsbury manager Paul Simpson is contemplating changing his side as he looks to end a five-match losing streak against high-flying Notts County.

Shrews went down 2-1 against struggling Torquay on Saturday and are up against a County side who are chasing leaders Rochdale for the League Two title.

Paul Murray and Jake Robinson were dropped to the bench at Plainmoor but may return as Simpson looks for a first win since the end of February.

Striker Dave Hibbert has returned from a groin injury and he is likely to be partnered by Robinson or Jamie Cureton in attack.

Town`s slump has left them in 12th place, six points short of the play-offs with seven games remaining.

Notts County boss Steve Cotterill will pick from an unchanged squad.

Defender John Thompson completes a two-match suspension for amassing 10 yellow cards this season.

That means Jamie Clapham, recalled to replace Thompson for the 5-0 home win over Bury, Stephen Hunt, Mike Edwards and Graeme Lee will again form the Magpies` back-line.

However, Cotterill could opt to make changes elsewhere and Delroy Facey is pushing for a start after coming off the bench to score against Bury.

Fellow strikers Karl Hawley and Ade Akinbiyi and midfielder Matt Hamshaw are also hoping for recalls.

County remain unbeaten under Cotterill. They have won seven of their nine matches, scoring 19 goals and conceding just two.
