Bury manager Alan Knill is waiting on the fitness of forward Keigan Parker ahead of the visit of Burton Albion.
Parker - who is on loan at Gigg Lane from Oldham - missed the 5-0 hammering at Notts County on Saturday after twisting his ankle in training and is doubtful to make the Brewers clash.
Danny Carlton is pushing for a starting role in attack after making a bright substitute appearance at Meadow Lane as Knill has no other injury concerns.
Ryan Lowe returns from suspension as the Shakers look for a first win since February 19.
Knill said: "We shouldn`t be hanging onto the play-offs but we haven`t played well and the league table doesn`t lie.
"We have to get back to the form that we had otherwise the season will just fizzle out."
Burton boss Paul Peschisolido is likely to make changes for the trip.
The Canadian named an unchanged side for the visit of Darlington and was left "angry and disappointed" after his players slumped to a 2-1 defeat to the relegation certainties.
A second game in three days would probably have meant changes anyway, but the performance against the Quakers could have made the decision easier for Peschisolido.
Michael Simpson made his first appearance since mid-January on Saturday following a broken foot and he is a candidate to start at Gigg Lane.
Fellow midfielders Romuald Boco and Keith Gilroy, striker Steve Kabba and defenders Shaun Kelly and Aaron Webster are other options available to Peschisolido.
