Watford will be without midfielder Henri Lansbury when West Brom come to Vicarage Road.

The on-loan Arsenal youngster picked up his 10th booking of the season during the 1-1 draw at Preston on Saturday and will begin a two-match ban against the Hornets.

Lansbury picked up a knock at Deepdale and may have been ruled out anyway.

Midfielder Don Cowie is also a doubt after picking up an injury against North End, while defender Martin Taylor passed a late fitness test after an ankle problem to start at Lancashire but remains a doubt after failing to complete the full 90 minutes.

The Hornets remain a single point clear of the relegation zone with six games remaining, while Albion could seal promotion to the Premier League with a win.

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo could be boosted by the return of tricky winger Jerome Thomas.

The 27-year-old looks set to be available for the trip to Vicarage Road after missing Albion`s Good Friday win over play-off chasing Leicester.

Striker Roman Bednar is pushing for a starting berth after shaking off a thigh problem to feature as a second-half substitute against the Foxes.

However, Bednar may struggle to displace Ishmael Miller, who has been in excellent form since returning from his own lengthy injury lay-off.

Robert Koren, Marek Cech and Chris Brunt are all expected to continue after also making their comebacks in Friday's match.

Victory over the Hornets will be enough to seal promotion back to the Barclays Premier League for the Baggies should Nottingham Forest fail to win against Cardiff.
