Bradford centre-back Matt Clarke could return to the squad for the home clash with Macclesfield.

Clarke has been rested in recent matches, but manager Peter Taylor is not afraid to make changes as he strives to find the winning formula.

Winger Omar Daley (hamstring) and midfielder Michael Flynn (ribs) missed Saturday's defeat at Bournemouth and are not expected to return, while defender Simon Ramsden (calf) remains sidelined.

Taylor could be tempted to make changes up front. Ryan Kendall, on loan from Hull, made his debut on Saturday but was replaced in the second half by Leon Osborne while James Hanson made way for Gavin Grant, who had recovered from illness.

Bradford will be chasing their first league win in five matches.

Macclesfield are set to be unchanged for the trip.

Midfielder Ross Draper sustained an ankle injury in the win against Cheltenham 10 days ago and is set to be sidelined for between three to four weeks.

Fellow midfielder Izak Reid has recovered from an ankle problem and was an unused substitute on Saturday as Town held in-form Aldershot to a 1-1 draw.

John Rooney missed a penalty in the opening two minutes of that draw but will keep his place while defender Carl Tremarco is battling to overcome a groin problem and will be assessed.

Town are still missing Hamza Bencherif, Colin Daniel and Ricky Sappleton through long-term injuries.
