This January transfer window will surely go down as one of the best winter transfer windows we’ve ever witnessed - and there’s still more than 10 days remaining.

Virgil van Dijk has moved to Liverpool for £75 million, while the Reds sold Philipe Coutinho to Barcelona for £142 million.

Then, there’s the transfer saga involving Alexis Sanchez with the Arsenal star set for a shock move to Manchester United with Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving the other way. The Gunners could also seal a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

And that’s just the start.

There could also be another high-profile transfer taking place that might slip under the radar.

Before United stole Sanchez from underneath Manchester City’s noses, they were targeting a new winger. One player they were heavily linked with was Paris Saint-Germain’s Lucas Moura.

The Brazilian is out-of-favour at the Parc des Princes and is one of those players that could be offloaded in order for the club to abide by Financial Fair Play Regulations.

Of course, United no longer need Lucas considering Sanchez’s imminent arrival and a Premier League club could be set to take advantage of that.

SPURS LOOKING TO SNAP UP LUCAS MOURA

According to French outlet L’Equipe, Spurs are interested in signing Lucas during the January transfer window.

They claim that the north London club have contacted PSG over the possible sale, with the midfielder not starting a Ligue 1 match this season.

Spurs are believed to want to take the 25-year-old on loan but PSG would prefer a permanent deal.

Of course, the two clubs have already struck a deal this season with Spurs signing Serge Aurier for £23 million in the summer.

It’s claimed Mauricio Pochettino is looking to bolster his attacking options this transfer window and Moura has expressed an interest in playing in England - and the chance to play more first-team football.
