Leroy Sane helped Manchester City beat Newcastle United 3-1 on Saturday evening, bagging an astounding assist for Sergio Aguero late on.The Argentine striker bagged a hat-trick at the Etihad and the victory takes Pep Guardiola's side 12 points clear of second placed Manchester United.Playing on the left flank, Sane has racked up 10 assists already this season and it's no wonder City pulled out of the race to sign Alexis Sanchez last week.“No player at the beginning of his career knows how good he can be," said Sane. "It’s exciting and a challenge to see how I can get to the best level.“The manager has improved me since day one. There are areas for me still to work on. I played against his Bayern Munich team — it was amazing and not so comfortable to play against.”Sane and Raheem Sterling are two youngsters who are thriving under Guardiola's management.

Gary Lineker tweets

The Match of the Day host was just as impressed as every other viewer and tweeted immediately after Aguero's hat-trick goal.

He may have been exaggerating a little but it did feel like 37 Newcastle players wouldn't have been able to get the ball off the tricky winger.

Fellow German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan recently described Sane as "one of the most talented young players I know on earth."

“He [Sane] manages to make the right decisions in specific situations more and more often. This makes him extremely dangerous.

"He is one of the most talented young players I know on earth.

“He integrated himself very well and brings an easy-going attitude to the team, on and off the pitch.”

Sane is expected to be involved when City visit Bristol City in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.
