WWE's Mixed Match Challenge got underway with a bang last week, and it demonstrated that the next 11 weeks are going to be exciting with some brilliant in-ring action and chemistry which we have never seen before.
Last Tuesday after SmackDown Live, the team of Finn Balor and Sasha Banks became the first team to advance to the next stage of the tournament after they defeated the team of Shinsuke Nakamura and Natalya.
Balor and Banks will find out who their next opponents in the tournament later this week, as they'll face the winner of The Miz and Asuka vs Big E and Carmella which takes place this coming Tuesday.
While it will take a full 12 weeks for fans to eventually find out which Mixed Match Challenge team will the winner of the tournament, recent speculation has potentially revealed which team will ultimately be the victors.
According to IWNerd, the team of Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss are the favorites to win the Mixed Match Challenge.
Considering the strong pushes which The Monster Among Men and Little Miss Bliss have received over recent months, it wouldn't be surprising if the two Monday Night Raw came out on top by the end of the tournament.
Strowman and Bliss will have to beat Sami Zayn and Becky Lynch next week in order to advance to the next stage of the tournament, which they should easily do. Then they'll face either face Goldust and Alicia Fox or Jimmy Uso and Naomi, which should be another easy win for them.
After that, it's unclear as to who they would face in the semifinals and in the final of the tournament, but considering they're one of the strongest teams in the whole thing, it's easy to see them becoming the Mixed Match Challenge champions.
Considering how WWE recently booked the team of Strowman and Bliss at a recent live event, they're definitely going to go far in the tournament.
Curt Hawkins made the mistake of interrupting Bliss, who was celebrating a victory on her way backstage. This lead to the Raw Women’s Champion demanding her Mixed Match Challenge partner to beat down Hawkins, which Strowman did.
These two are going to go far in the Mixed Match Challenge, and they could potentially win the whole thing. We'll find out if this is the case in 11 weeks time.
