Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is reported to pondering a move for Real Madrid midfielder Guti.

The Spanish midfielder has stated, on a Madrid radio station ‘Ona Madrid’, that he is almost certain to leave the Bernabeu this summer and will play in his last ‘Classico’ against Barcelona this weekend.

Guti said, “This will probably be my last Classico. At the moment, there is no possibility of another.

“I have one more year (on his contract) but hopefully will reach an understanding. Surely they will understand, my choice is to leave and go.”

Harry Redknapp is looking to add proven quality to his squad this summer and it is thought that Guti fit that mold with Spurs once again looking to secure a Champions League spot next season.

The 33-year-old has also stated that he has two more years left in his playing career and would favour a move to either England or Italy.

Guti continued, “I have two more years...The idea is to go to England, Italy or an Arab country.”
