Oldham manager Dave Penney will be without Kieran Lee for their home match with Bristol Rovers.
Lee was dismissed for picking up two yellow cards in Tuesday's defeat to Huddersfield and will be suspended for the Rovers game.
Midfielder Andy Holdsworth remains sidelined with a long-term ankle injury but boss Penney has no other injury concerns.
Lewis Guy is expected to retain his place up front for the Latics as the striker plays the final game in his loan spell from Doncaster, although Oldham are hoping to extend the deal.
Guy will be hoping to fire the Boundary Park club to victory as they attempt to move further clear of the League One relegation zone.
Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope welcomes back defenders Byron Anthony and Jeff Hughes.
Anthony returns from two-match ban, while Hughes comes back after being suspended for one game, meaning Trollope's men travel to Boundary Park with a fully-fit squad at his disposal.
Darryl Duffy looks set to be handed another starting role after returning from his loan spell with Carlisle in Saturday`s 1-0 win over MK Dons.
And Trollope claims the squad he has available is testament to the fitness work his players do.
"To have a full compliment of players is all you can ask for at this time of year. It`s a credit to the fitness work we go - I wouldn't imagine there are many other clubs who can boast a full quota," he told the club`s official website.
"We will be looking for a win on Saturday and whoever we play will be able to do a job."
